5/6/2023 0 Comments Avast firewall unreplied![]() Please follow JuninhoSlo advice in using aswclear. uninstall, aswclear, reboot, install and now everything is good. Adding the following to my Avast Antivirus’ list of files/folders/websites to exclude from its shields/scans: Traffic logging worked for a few days, then stopped. Adding “UnityPackageManager.exe” to the built-in Windows Firewall’s list of programs that are allowed through it (Now I have 7 “Node.js:Server-side JavaScript”s on the list of allowed programs, which is a little strange) Right-click the file and select Run as administrator. Creating a new “Inbound Rule” to allow connection to the IP Address “127.0.0.1” (Picture further below) Download the avastclear.exe uninstall utility and save it to a familiar folder on your PC (saved to Downloads folder by default). Activating all of the “Inbound Rules” related to Unity (I’ll add a picture of it further below) Running Unity 2019.3.15f1 with Firewall + Avast Antivirus off ![]() ![]() However it corrupted my system restore program when I tried to reset to earlier time. Running Unity Hub as Administrator (And with Firewall + Avast Antivirus off) I had both firewalls running and assumed all was ok. Reinstalling Unity 2019.3.15f1 (And Unity 2019.4.1f1) (Also with both Firewall + Avast Antivirus off) Reinstalling Unity Hub (And with both Firewall + Avast Antivirus off)
